Tuesday Secret stock : From Zomato To Saraswati Saree Depot, keep An Eye On These FIVE stocks today


Asian markets were trading higher tracking Wall Street. Japan's Nikkei was leading with a 1.24 per cent gain on Tuesday morning, followed by South Korea's Kospi with a 0.52 per cent gain.

Wall Street's key indexes in the US extended their upward streak to the 18th consecutive session on Monday with their longest weekly percentage gain of 2024.

The Nasdaq Composite closed 1.39 per cent higher on Monday. The broader S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 0.97 per cent and 0.58 per cent higher, respectively.

Indian stock markets are expected to have a positive start on Tuesday, given the bullish sentiment in global markets. GIFT futures also suggested a positive opening and Nifty 50 futures were trading 64 points higher at 24,659 levels.

Asia-Pacific markets rose across the region on Tuesday, buoyed by Wall Street's rally and the release of key economic data from China. China's loan key rates remained steady at 3.35 per cent and 3.85 per cent as expected.

Zomato Ltd

According to reports, an important deal is expected on Tuesday. In this, Antfin Singapore plans to sell 13.6 crore shares through a block deal, which is 1.54 per cent of Zomato's total equity.

Saraswati Saree Depot

The company's shares are set to be listed on the stock exchanges on Tuesday. Ahead of the listing, the company's shares are trading with a grey market premium (GMP) of Rs 46. The stock is expected to list at a 29 per cent premium to the issue price with an upper end price band of Rs 160.

Nucleus Software

The board will meet on August 22 to consider a share buyback, which will be the company's third buyback after 2017 and 2021. The buyback can be executed through the tender offer route or the open market route.

DCM Shriram

The company commissioned a new hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) plant at its chemical complex at Jhagadia in Bharuch district of Gujarat on August 19. The plant has a capacity of 52,500 tonnes per annum and will use hydrogen produced at the same location.

Tata Consumer Products

The company closed its rights issue on August 19. It aimed to raise up to Rs 3,000 crore at a price of Rs 818 per share. This happens after the withdrawal of indexation benefits on long-term capital gains.

Poly Medicure

The company opened its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue on August 19. A minimum price of Rs 1,880.69 per share was fixed for this. According to media reports, the issue size is expected to be around Rs 1000 crore.

HCL Tech

The board of HCL Tech has appointed Shiv Walia as the new Chief Financial Officer of the company from September 6.


How was the market movement on Monday?

Indian stock markets closed on a flat note on Monday after losing their early gains amid decline in auto and banking stocks and sluggish trading in various sectors.

The 30-share BSE Sensex on Monday closed marginally lower by 12.16 points or 0.02 per cent at 80,424.68, while the NSE Nifty closed marginally higher by 31.50 points or 0.13 per cent at 24,572.65.
